2/15/2018: Ida B. Wells: Pioneering journalist Ida B. Wells-Barnett battled racism, lynching, and sexism. She shed light on the conditions of African Americans throughout the South and successfully tied lynching to socio affluent African Americans.

3/15/2018: Hatshepsut: Our third episode is about an ancient Egyptian bad-ass, Queen Hatshepsut or as we call her Queen H. She reigned in her own right c. 1473– 58 bce and attained unprecedented power for a woman, adopting the full titles and regalia of a pharaoh.

5/15/2018: Buffalo Calf Road: She was a warrior and is being attributed to taking down Custer at the battle of little bighorn.

6/15/2018: Two Firsts for Female Doctors: This episode is about two firsts for female doctors. Fe Del Mundo the first female student at Harvard medical school. Dr. Susan La Flesche Picotte, the first American Indian woman to receive a medical degree.

7/15/2018: Grace Hopper: Today we are talking about Grace Hopper. A Mathematician, Military Leader, and Computer Programmer.

8/15/2018: Shirley Chisholm: is a pioneer for her generation, a woman of many firsts – the first African American congresswoman. The first African American to run for president. The first woman to run for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination. To those who know about her, Shirley Chisholm is more than a role model, she’s an icon and a trailblazer who deserves greater credit and attention than history afforded her.
